Bookmark Assistant

  • Enhancements have been made to Bookmark Assistant that allow for easier navigation and third level bookmarking. Sub database items are no longer opened in a new window, and a Navigation bar has been added to Bookmark Assistant. Please click here to learn more on using Bookmark Assistant.
  • There was an issue when a user would drag a bookmark from the Bookmark Assistant into a document. The prompting for format options on Number, Calculated, Date, and Image fields was disabled when dragging. Also, using the drag option with a Sub Database field would not open the window to display the sub database for field selection. These issues have been resolved.
  • It is no longer necessary to specify a template when inserting a sub database template bookmark. This allows for various templates to be used without having to re-bookmark the document.
  • In some versions of Microsoft Word, duplicate bookmarks of the same field within a single document were being removed automatically by MS Word. This issue is now resolved, users experiencing this will now have the ability to place multiple instances of the same field within the same document.

Designer

  • Import of RBP file was generating a new UID. This meant that sub database pickers would not be associated with Parent after importing an RBP file. This was revised to only generate a new UID when a File Type was cloned.
  • Upgraded how items are added to Database Picker fields so that there are no hidden selected items.
  • Added mm/yy and mm/yyyy to Date Field formats in both Designer and Bookmark Assistant. Blank Date fields will no longer merge with an invalid date.
  • Added the ability to create a rule that will select a template in a File Picker field. Previously, only files saved to disc would merge, but this has been changed to allow the setting of templates located in Document Manager.

Navigation

  • Enhancements were made to caching (must have caching turned on in Tools - Options) which will improve the performance during navigation throughout the skins and the File categories in the File Summary tab.
  • When merging a template in a record, the Enable Field Highlighting function was not working properly in certain instances. This issue is now resolved, simply open a document within a record and click Enable Field Highlighting to see what fields in the Data tab are present in your template.

Document Merge

  • Modifications were made to the Merge Progress Dialog window which will show more detail during the merge process to help improve any troubleshooting needed while creating and testing templates.
